A New Splash Pad in Hiller!
What an exciting weekend, Friends of Hiller Park had!
Thank you to Beverly Martin, Harrison County Supervisor for partnering with us to provide our citizens with a splash pad in Hiller Park. Ribbon cutting was held Saturday morning. Now open to the public!
Then we had our 4th Annual Easter Extravaganza on Saturday where hundreds showed up to say hello to our adorable Easter bunny. Thank you to all who came to join us.

The imperial Palace Casino and Spa helped Friends Of Hiller Park purchase our new and awesome playground in Hiller Park. Actually, make that two playgrounds and swing set!
NOW, they are donating $10,000 to help us purchase canopies to go over each playground.

I am truly humbled and honored for the privilege to serve ward 3 and the City of Biloxi for another four years. There is still so much work to be done but my team and I look forward to it. Together, we can and will continue to push Biloxi forward.

II have been honored to serve as City Council President twice and haven't taken the positon lightly.
Great News!
We are so excited to announce we will be having a ribbon cutting shortly for our new Wheelchair swing to add to the playground, purchased by Alhambra. We are hoping to be awarded a grant for the playground canopy in the upcoming month. Thankful for Harrison County Supervisor, Beverly Martin as she is helping us with a splash pad in Hiller Park. We are looking into more excitement opportunities with fund-raised money such as outdoor exercise equipment, blue way water trail, extending the dog park, and resurfacing the tennis courts.
Hard Work Pays off!
As you are aware, since I was elected in 2013. My Hiller Park committee and I have work as a team with the City Of Biloxi with providing fundraising events as well as family fun filled days. We have been fundraising to be able to replace that hazardous playground equipment that had been in place for many years. We also strive to make the new playground, special needs accessible.
Finally, we were able to purchase two new playgrounds and swing sets!

2nd phase of Atkinson Road sidewalk completed
The second phase of Atkinson Road Sidewalk is completed with a nice boardwalk over the water. The 10-foot-wide, 1,700-foot walkway, which runs alongside a bayou at the western end of the park. Hope you are enjoying this wonderful addition.
Next up is for Atkinson road to be paved! Long overdue...

Hiller Park Dog Park
My Hiller park committee and I have raised funds from local vets to build a small dog park in Hiller Park. We hope to expand this park and put in some obstacle courses for our furry friends.
The dog park is named after my sweet little toy poodle named Pixie who passed away way too early. I miss her everyday!

In Biloxi, garbage pick up is scheduled each Tuesday and Friday in Biloxi south of I-10.
Recycling is scheduled for on Friday as well
garbage pickup is Wednesday and Saturday north of I-10.
recycling is on Wednesday.
Please keep in mind, Waste Pro is not required to pick up trash generated by private contractors or tree services. It is the contractor's responsiblity that you have hired.

Halloween Success 2016
Another successful Halloween even in Hiller Park. About 2,500 attended this year. We want to thank Biloxi PD and CTA for their part in helping with traffic issues from previous years.
Also, thank you to all 40 businesses and volun who were involved to make this event a success!
